I maybe the first to drop a heart, I appreciate the both/and. Been feeling a bit negative myself lately, state of the world, freezing cold, ice everywhere and this morning I went for a walk with the dog, who is definitely not team winter. We watched the cardinals skitter on the ice and the sun allow the snow to sparkle, definitely positives. 🥶
Attending a rally yesterday with my almost 90 yo mother and a few hundred people in my unincorporated town was very uplifting. Lots of supportive honking and waving from drivers.
The head of all the PX’s (Post Exchange for my non-BRAT readers) is reading my book to consider carrying it in all the PX’s throughout American Military Installations around the world! (I initiated this-my PR team is “done” with their campaign.)
Thank you, Erin! I am nothing if not resilient. Now, important to note, that I break, cry, feel hopeless, and then get back up, dust off my jeans and ask, "Okay, now what?"
Every worthwhile path has hills and valleys. Sometimes, even swamps and briars. Oh, and let’s not forget the wolves, vultures, and parasites. But if you don’t keep going, you miss the chance to discover the unicorns, the griffins—the magic.
I read your book and really enjoyed. I could relate to many of the things you write about. My mother is reading it now. Hmm, something positive is that Shayna is now published her thesis! We are so proud of our marine scientist.

Love this, Chris! Your descriptions of your walk with your Pupperoni was magical.

Thank you, Mary. I'm working on it! If nothing else, the "trying" is rewarding.
And the morning will blow away
As the waves crash and fall
And the Reach like a siren sings
As she beckons and calls
As the coastline recedes from view
And the seas swell and roll
I will take from the Reach
All that she has to teach
To the depths of my soul
Oh, that magical, enchanting song, and of course, the songwriter, and you...always by my side. That is a beautiful thing.
The PX potential is amazing. Way to go. You're my hero for such initiative. Crossing my fingers it works out -- as it should.

I love that! Sounds like a great beginning for a book!
We made signs and went to a protest yesterday, and it was quite uplifting. Nice to see how many people really care out there.
Yes, Wendy!!!!!!! People do care, don't they? Thank you, for going out, speaking out and carrying the truth forward.
