As a kid I wouldn't eat the crust of a slice of bread. Now I do. Whatever just ate the leave in the middle doesn't realize what was missed.😀

I love this! We do what we do at a particular period of time, and then we can make another choice and discover something wonderful.

Typically, something must be wrenched from me. I don’t know that I am particularly good at the art of letting go.

Holly, my kindred spirit, when I read this, "typically, something must be wrenched from me" I felt something in my gut just tear away...I guess I am the same. I am making of practice of "letting go" but much like "meditation" I have to make it my own. Thank you for reminding me of the various ways to do those super hard things.

Ah, when to let go . . . I often hesitate before making a move. Last spring I debated whether to leave my job at the middle school. Once I "let go" and got my energy back to take care of my family, life was grand.
