I am writing (attempting to write) a story for our descendant newsletter. This is hard! As is typical for most newsletters, the story should be reasonably brief. Right? Well, I find myself wanting to include every detail—I’m up to two typewritten pages! This will not do. I will have to whittle it down to an appropriate size, while still maintaining the impact of the story! Suggestions are very, very welcome. P.S., Kiss kitty for me! ❤️

I am very excited about this, Jocelind! Editing down work to meet a page limit/word limit is very hard. One thing that works for me (I read this somewhere, so I can't take credit for the idea) is to take one word from each sentence. This is not completely possible for some sentences, but the idea gives a guide and does help. Kitty kiss on the way (once it's light out-ha/ha)

Oh, the poor little thing! How wonderful you're able to take her to the vet and everything.

I know! Who knows what this little baby has been through in her travels, put out when she was only 6 months old? I am a novice at "Energy Work" but have been doing some on her to re-establish trust. She has been so skittish since the vet visit. We are pulling for her!
