grey looks fantastic on most women - starting from the first strands in early 30s to 'expiry date' ... and, platinum is as the name of the color implies, awe inspiring! Call me 'guy who's loved the grey' from a very young age!
First time to your newsletter and first post read! Instantly knowing I am going to LOVE reading your work! I have DARED to let the grey emerge, wrestle with reading glasses (though I am blind without my contacts), and love a good life storytelling as well! The other connection is Marilyn Graham Werden! If she says you are someone to follow, then I am HERE! Looking forward to reading more! Congratulations on the book interviews and hope you'll be sharing that experience! Blessings! ~Wendy💜
I love that you are wearing your dad’s old Army jacket.
I didn’t exactly go grey. I gradually went white. Not white white. Just white. Stopped trying to modify that four years ago. Only once did I try to go back to being a brunette. It was easjer to blonde it because it almost matched. I didn’t lose IQ points for that by the way.
Mary, I have never colored my hair and I have gradually gone from brunette to grey to rather silvery hair. It’s been a fun transition. I look in the mirror and smile.
Grey hair, I dare. Love that. I’ve been in the process of letting my grey grow out. Still have a ways to go but can’t wait to see what what when it’s all done. I’m reading the Ina Garten memoir right now. Going to she to check out Germania!

No judgement. I figure people do what they want, when they want to, and why they want to. It just worked for me.
I love your new slogan! It inspires me to be brave today.
I think, having read your writing, that you are already brave!
