My dear friend, that you have the capability to find beauty in the types of situations mentioned here makes tears spring to my eyes! My mom had that “make something out of very little and make it shine” way about her just like you. I love and admire you, Mary McKnight. I am so very glad we are friends. ❤️

Okay, now I'm crying! I see that very same spirit in you Dear Soul. I saw it on the day we met...that lovely, cloudless, sunny afternoon in front of the school. Your two three-year-olds raced over to hug you as they exited the school and you scooped them up and hugged them with a mother's love so deep and intoxicating. It is what drew me to you all those years ago and still does. I too love and admire you-what a gift to have you as a friend and our girls, becoming the Best and Deepest of Friends. Thank you for reading my piece and for being such a strength to me, for me, and with me in this "Chapter 2" of my life.

Thank you! This "ex" is a different one from my other stories. In retrospect, he was just reacting in sorrow and fear. We get along great now and have for years.

Thank you, Rick! I think my Mom set the greatest example for me on how to find the bravery and "can do" from within for your child (or in her case, children). Thank you, Cousin, for reading and also for sharing here! It means so much to me.

Keep it coming! I can see that from your Mom! I wasn't around her that much but she always seemed, "cool, calm and collected "! Wasn't that the line from an ice blue secret commercial?😀 In addition I look at play doh in a new way!
