I sing, play music, read, walk, dream. Truly if I had a green thumb, I’d garden at all hours. I’m still working up the courage to build a vegetable garden! There was a time when I used to run and, oh, what a sweet and complete release it was! For a full hour or so, it was me and the path (with the exception of that damned raccoon that chased me)!

Well, I have 16 tomato plants (about 6" high at this point, so in a few weeks when it's time to plant, if you would like some... I remember you talking about the freedom of running (and the racoon escapade). "Me and the path." I love that so much. The last time I ran with regularity was in my mid 40's. Oh, it was just me and the track. Hmmm...is it our time again?

Oh, I do love tomatoes right off the vine with the taste of sunshine. Yes, please and thank you!

Gardening is so very therapeutic, isn't it? It kills my back and my hands, yet I still lose myself for hours at a time digging in the soil, smelling the fresh new green things.

It really is so wonderful. I sometimes have to sprinkle a bit of compassion on myself as I get mad when I cannot lift bags of mulch easily like I did in my 20's. Ahhhh, fresh, new green things. Yes!

Well, Mary McKnight!! Every BIT of your process sounds divine to me! I love that you watch Dr. Quinn, she is a woman of all women! Particularly one this influx of male fragility cower in meeting, as they SHOULD! How we all should hope for the BEST of men, those with a Sully persona, to step out and up to truly support women! Oh, they are rising, just not as quickly or as completely as Sully; my hope is new every day!

To move on....stuck in that Sully vision you dropped on my thoughts! 😉😂

I SO love your sense of humor and means for finding places of joy in order to face the ever increasing attacks on our empathetic, genuine hearts. Though I would love to be doing the gardening as you are, so far my distraction from the drudgery of news is a rescued kitten and the rambunctious spirit held within his furry cuteness. This involves 24 hours of activity, bonding with the older pets, and keeping us ALL on our toes! We are taking in all of it and appreciating the young energy flying through our home. As for music, well songs for sure...the discovery of "cat TV" full of bird solos and choirs harmonizing with the nature surrounding their birdbath or feeder activity. It is a joyful calm. So appreciate coming to your post today!

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~Wendy💜
