Mary, dear friend, I’ve just caught myself up on all your wonderful posts. I don’t know what happened to my Facebook feed, but your posts and notifications did not come through. So, I went back and read and responded to all of your wondrous stories. I am grateful for these! Love and hugs to you and Sylvie Bugs!

Oh, good! It was a day I was searching for a book, but had no books in mind. The title grabbed my attention and as I began to read, I felt like he was telling me, just me, a story. Any books you'd recommend?? Thank you.

Oh wow what a question! Absolutely.

If You Tell by Greg Olsen (i couldn’t put this down true crime but true story)

The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer

Drinking a Love Story by Caroline Knapp

Appetites by Caroline Knapp (memoir)

Guts by Kristen Johnson (this is what I would like my book to sound like. She’s hysterical on her life with alcoholism)

I read ‘In the Garden of Beasts’ several years ago and like you, I couldn’t put it down. I have added ‘The Best Strangers in the World’ to my TR list. I always appreciate book recommendations!

I was so happy for your returning to teaching preschoolers and enjoy hearing about your adventures with them! I loved teaching. I am also so happy your book ‘Out of Place’ is being released on 12/3/24. I have the date down in my 2024 Planner.

A lot of good things going on right now, Mary! And also happy for your daughter.

My very favorite book ever is Nothing to See Here, by Kevin Wilson. I've never read anything else remotely like it!
