Great post! For me, it’s comfort all the way. Hair out of my face and comfy body - as long as I’m clean, tidy and not scaring the (metaphorical) horses I reckon that’s enough! 🤣

Ahhh, the wonderful things our children bring up to us! I happen to love your style! It’s your warm, loving soul that pours forth all of the bright colors and patterns as you walk and talk! As for me? I like my curly hair that can be curly one moment or wavy the next! I use to fuss and toil over it, but I’m finding that the less I fuss, the more I like it! My clothes, on the other hand, aren’t quite where I’d like them to be. I can say that I’m definitely dressing for comfort, warmth or coolness, and style—in that order! I’m still a work on progress.

I love your curly, wavy hair too! I think comfort in dressing is super important. How many times did we clomp around in high heels in the past (Mom said beauty was painful), take them off, and our feet still maintained the shape of the shoes for minutes after removal?! No thanks to that anymore! I love the line in a Mary Oliver poem where she says, "And what will you do with your one, wild life?" Thank you, Dear Friend, for reading and for responding.

Hey there Steve Nelson. Or is it Willie Jobs? That's freaking hilarious.

Nope, I dress in shorts and a tshirt every day, unless it's cold then I put jeans on and a long sleeved shirt. And I have a zillion black tshirts, so that's what I wear most days.

In the words on Bob Dylan, I used to care, but things have changed. I'm not trying to attract a mate. I don't care about the image I project. This is what I am.

I do put on lipstick most days, but even that doesn't always happen. I am what I am.

I love that! I'm going with "Steve Nelson." It sounds more successful. Yep, this is what I am too. It is freeing, isn't it?

I love this and of course, being who I am, many times creating funny images in my mind from words, I pictured horses backing up slowly, saying, "Hey, we're just leaving. No need to come any closer." Classic. Thank you, Rebecca for reading and also for providing me with a laugh this morning. Laughing is truly one of my all time favorite things!
