Aww, thank you! Really, it's you kind Twitter writers who inspired me to try a new genre. Truly. I have just fallen in love with these characters and the genre. Thank you! Oh, and thanks for appreciating the "Tigger Bouncy" in me. (a la' Winnie the Pooh)

I would much rather have a few “followers” who are genuine, thoughtful, and kind than a larger but impersonal following. I recognize that might not be the easiest for folks trying to make money or gain specific opportunities, but that feels the best for my soul. Thanks for this post, Mary.

Thank you, Erika for reading and also for sharing that important wisdom. "Genuine, thoughtful and kind" are my kind of people. Yours too.

I haven’t learned anything useful on social media lately - other then the fact they yes, people have perfect lives. 😉

It sounds like you are making nice progress on your rom com. Can’t wait to hear more about it! 💕

Oh, those perfect lives. Never had one, never will. I love the stories of people's imperfections, which I find interesting! Thank you for reading about mine. And thank you for the "cheer on" for the Rom Com.

Ah… social media. I have Facebook and Instagram and post almost nothing! It just that I am so engrossed in other peoples’ stories that I forget to post my own. I know I have much to share; I was told just the other day that I should be writing my ancestors’ stories. Where to begin? I feel somewhat intimidated to write something for a Facebook post, so imagine how I’d feel writing a book! I welcome any and all sage advice. Love reading your stories, Mary!

I love to read anything you post. As for the book, as a story comes to you, type it down. No order (to start with) and you'll find that your stories will provide their own structure. As details come to you, add them to the story. (Just my process)Don't edit, don't correct, just get it down on paper. I can't wait to read your book!

Yay to bouncing around, Mary! 🥳

Everything interesting I learned online this week I learned on Substack. I steer clear of every other social media platform, and have done for years. 😊
