“Late in Life Writer”. I love this…There are so many people starting new careers at later ages today. I think it’s healthy and wonderful.

I’ve been writing all my life, and now it’s like I’m beginning again, with all the awkwardness and insecurity I thought I had shed for good. The imagined audience is somewhat of a hindrance to what I really want to say, but as usual, Mary, your reflections light the way for me to find what it is I really want to say.

Oh and at 73, I am acutely aware I am not gonna live forever. Less acutely aware, I am not gonna be famous either. But I am going to be true to my process and see where that takes me.

Yes, yes!! I agree. It is truly such a wondrous thing that at age 63, I am a debut author. It is so fun that I never gave up my dream Thank you, Wendy!
