Thank you, Rebecca! Time will tell what the outcome will be, but whatever it is, I will always know that I threw my hat into the proverbial ring.

Your essay resonated with me as a former elementary school teacher (I have my BS in Elementary Education with a Minor in Early Childhood). I loved teaching; I love children and I love education. I knew exactly how you felt when you described your own feelings in this area. I think it is truly wonderful that you have applied for this position. Wishing you the best. ā¤ļø

Thank you, Susan! I love, love when people who taught share their love of children and express that through teaching. Thank you for the good vibes.

Hello dear friend! The Lab School will be very lucky to have you join them! I am so excited for you. This may not be a surprise for you, but my burning desire is to immerse myself in my genealogical projects. Albeit I am being stretched so many different ways and feel that my toes and fingers may not be able to handle the pull, but I keep forging ahead. This is an exciting time for my descendant work! Hugs!

Oh, those fabulous genealogical projects! I cannot wait to hear what you have discovered, who you have discovered, and their many stories. Yes, yes, forge on! It is those projects/pursuits that give such a richness and meaning to our lives. Thank you for reading my piece and for sharing your brave pursuits!

Thank you, Heather! I'm excited, but I also know that doing this "Brave" thing comes with the potential of being (momentarily) devastated. Oh well. Up or down, I'll have something to write about, won't I?
