I have changed the "Gray Hair, Don't Care" to "Silver Hair, I Dare!" I think there is such truth in being as old/young as you feel. I did make the fingerprint guy smile, so I felt like I succeeded in some small way in adding a brightness to his probably dull day.

I love this! And good for you for making the guy smile. That's what matters in the end, anyway.

Thank you, Wendy! Yes, I do like to add some happiness wherever I go if possible.

There is nothing wrong with grey hair. I’ve earned every single one.

As far as no aches and pains. You are in the minority. Must be the yoga. Wish I was faithful to it.

For me, it's the word, "Grey" and the associations with it that bother me. I love my Silvers. Silver is shiny, and valuable. Grey is a sad day. But, that's just how I think about it. Truly, I think all those years of working with young children getting up and down off the floor, and continuing it even when I retired, has helped me overall. "Yes" to earning our changes. Thank you, Sweet Friend.

Such a great post, Mary! Silver all the way where it comes to hair colour - absolutely gorgeous!

I am forever 26. Even now, over 20 years after the thing that made my head remain forever 26, if someone asks me how old I am, my automatic answer is ‘26’.

When I do the MATHS, of course, I know that I’m ACTUALLY nearly 49! 🤣

Hmm..let's see, I'd have to go with feeling about 30, some days younger. I love that your automatic answer is "26." Life can be so fun and I love hearing about the experience of others, internal and external.

Ugh. That guy sounds like a real downer. I love that you say your hair is silver. I’m going to do that when I finally stop coloring my hair and let it be in its natural state.

I’m middle aged by modern standards but don’t really feel middle aged and even though once in a while I have thoughts like “you are too old for this or that” I usually just shake it off and go on with my day. What’s the saying? You are as old/young as you feel! 💕

Isn't "Middle Age" such a downer of an expression. Let's change it to something dynamic! It truly is liberating to have lived, loved, learned and continuing to do so. I'm with you-shake it off and go on with my day. Yes!
